EBRU DAZKIR
architect+
interior designer
Born and raised in chaotic cosmopolitan streets of İstanbul, Ebru Dazkır is a creative problem solver with good taste. She started designing candles at the age of 7, oil painting at the age of 12, had 2 years of drama education and then started to take part in plays at the age of 15 ( she even played Juliet! ). Then she tried to play the cello at the age of 16 ( it was a fantastic failure ) She occupies herself with various interests and these hones her creativity.
She studied Architecture and Interior design as a double bachelor. ( joy for a creative mind, craziness for health! ) She graduated with the first rank in the faculty and had multiple design awards with her projects. Made her way to Indonesia to study bamboo structures and to get familiar with the Asian culture. ( she fell in love with the other side of the World! ) Then had an Erasmus in Athens, where she had the chance to attend to mind opening art classes ( dug in to the antique paths, climbed Athenian Hills to catch the sunsets ) Following her graduation, she interned in an architectural office in Italy and had a long-inspiring backpacking adventure around Europe. ( Spent all her money chasing good architecture, design, amazing museums, art, live music, train tickets and Italian cuisine, stayed in terrible hotels )
